there is a job fair at uni today i am going to go and pick up some leaflets (which i will never read LOL)
need to start job hunting only have a few months until i am kicked out of university and thrown into the horrors of the real world i am not looking forward to it.
Got a message from an old mate of mine i have not seen in ages she want to go or a drink and catch up this weekend so looking forward to that.
Nothing else to say really i am not living the most exciting life at the moment |

well the rent has finally come out of my account leaving me with a grand total of -£780 and since i have an overdraft of £800 that leaves me with £20 to play with until april woo hoo!
Neadless to say have booked an appointment with the finacial adviser at uni
on the dating front i am hilariously depressed met loads of interesting woman but NONE live in leeds :-(
*sigh* to be honest the who internet dating scene is pretty depressing thinking about just saying fuck it and goeing to a club or bar on my own and trying my luck. Is it acceptable to go to a bar on your own i know i would feel dead self concious and what if i do manage to talk to a girl

ok REALLY need to be more up to date with this but since i handed the project in i haven't been spending as much time at uni so no internet access.
so whats happening
nothing much LOL
going to see the student advice people to see about getting a hardship loan because i am broke need to get money so i can put money on my mobile and call my family to let them know i am not dead. uuuummmm what else clean my room sort out my finances thats abot it.
I have exams in about 3 months so until then i am pretty much free to revise but i need this time to find some money you know for the little things like food and rent LOL
anyway thats it for now will try to be more up to date in future

Finally managed to get my assignment in 2 days late but never mind got a 2.2 in my individual project so that is cool signed up for a test thing in COOL module so should earn me some hard cash which is always good
there was a gas leak in my flat over the weekend so i have had no central heting all weekend so have been freezing my ass off with no one to keep me warm LOL
speaking of which the internet dateing where to start LOL
met a couple of nice girls one in particular we get on really well chatting on MSN she thinks i am funny for some strange reason and is genuinly really into me just one problem she lives in aberdeen!! :(( :(( :(( :((
Met another girl again getting on great until she starts telling me how her ex husband is injail for armed robbery nd how her SIX kids are getting her down and then she drops the bomb shell that she has shingles. then she asks if i want to meet ur........

shit nothing has happened there is another comic book convention this weekend so saving up for that..... thats it realy been pre occupied with work am at uni now at 4.30am taking a break from doing it guess i should get back to work

Christ what a day!
Ok yesterday flatemate Lou broke up with her boyfriend, i there fore did the honourable thing and offered to buy her a drink. So off to the pub we go, after about an hour or so of her ranting about how all men are basically bastards some of her mates turn up (thank god) leaving me free to wander around the pub. So i am at the bar and i bump into this girl i know from uni. Now i quite fancy her so we start chatting away as you do and we eventually go back over to where Lou and her mates are getting royally pissed. Now things are going well when i decide to take a bathroom break, this is where the trouble starts.
You see one of Lous friends (this wanker named keith) decides that she needs "cheering up" so he decides to sneakally put something in her drink, but being the inbred fuckwit that he is he gets mixed up and puts it in the wrong pint

Long story short i got high as a fucking kite and endded up vomiting all over this poor girl i liked (NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!) the pub landlord dragged me up stairs the the guest bedroom (which is used unofficialy as the drunk tank for all the alcholics who pass out downstairs)
this explians why i woke up this morning with a splitting headache in a very strange and smelly room.
Havent yet spoken to the girl spoken to Lou though she has given keith a bollocking (although she seems to be more upset that he tryed to drug her than the fact he did it to me) anyway that was my fun night out

Sigh, back at uni again sorry to come off as a bore but i have got a new assignment due in for the 16th and i haven't started it yet so got to get busy.
What else is new?
Well had to borrow money of my dad which i HATE doing but what with my current financial situation and the business with my landlord i have little choice in the matter.
My flatmate Lou is giving me grief basically she hates it here and wants to move out and has convinced her wimp of a boyfriend to move to leeds so they can get a flat together. One problem she can't stand him. I don't mean she doesn't love him i mean she doesn't even like to be in the same room as him. Basically she is only going out with him because he is rich and worships her. All of a sudden she has an attack of conscious whilst they were out shopping for furniture and now she doesn't know what to do as he is really excited the poor fool.
Anyway she has been ranting and raving at me all week about what to do. You see we have an 'understanding' she and i, basically she can yell at me about anything and i will ignore her and go 'uh-hu' every now and then. Usually after 10 minuets of cursing the names of "those bastards from work" and telling me all about the trouble with her real dad she calms down and becomes quite friendly and then we go for a drink or to the cinema. This arrangement has worked well for the past 2 years we have lived together and she has repeatedly stated that the rants are nothing personal she just likes to let off steam i reply that i ignore them anyway and we remain friends. She has been particularly bad recently if i've told her once i've told her a thousand times talk to HIM not me about this shit. Hopefully she will do the right thing.
What else oh yeah, bit embarrassed about this but been looking at online dating sites (ha ha sad loser ha ha) anyway to be honest most of them are shite, there either dodgy sex sites filled with middle age swingers or filled with psychos who want to get married on the first date. Joined one site and already had half a dozen offers from creepy fat middle aged men (they all start with i know your profile said straight but.....)
Jesus where do all the nice (and by nice i mean sane) girls hang out on the Internet. The law of averages says they must exist so where are they? |

Well been away for a while (busy at work) sooo how have things been?
First off my new flatmate sally is indeed nice although a little bit anti social for my likeing, sitting in her room while we are going to the pub, it's ok we don't bite just trying to get to know you!
Spent the best part of £60 in the comic book convention, christ of all the addictions in the world by crippling comic book addiction has to be the most pathetic, still it keeps me of the streets
Motorhead were fan-fucking tastic christ my ears are still ringing they were so loud! i freely admit i screamed like a little girl when the intro for "Stone dead Forever" started up (oh lemmy your such an old romantic with your songs "orgasmatron" "Iron Fist" and the beautiful balled "jailbait"
Also i've had my hair cut. Noooooo!
Going for a job interview and don't think my rocking hair would be appropriate so i had it shaved. Now i look like a ginger nazi (lol)
hmmmm
thats about it at the moment except that the girl sitting next to me in the lab REALLY needs to use less perfume.

Here at uni pissing about on the internet (don't have internet at home). Hmmm whats new,well i am getting a new flatmate tommorow, the spanish git is moving out (yay)and is being replaced by a girl called Sally.
All of this is has happened very fast, hell i only found out the spanish git was leaving this morning, apparently sally is moving in tommorow.
The only thing i know about Sally (if indeed that is her real name) is that she is "nice"
Is she a student?
Is she a spy?
Is she a serial killer?
Is she a servant of the great Cthulhu?
Most importantly is she indeed "nice"?
Guess i will have to wait until tommorow to find out! |
